House Rules

1. NO SMOKING - tabaco smoking allowed outdoors, no marijuana or drug use at anytime. 2. Loud parties are strictly prohibited and will result in expulsion from premises and forfeit of rental fee. Please observe quiet hours from 9pm-9am with no playing of outdoor music during those times. 3. There is no street parking in the cul-de-sac. Guests must park in driveway or find parking on other streets. 4. Please do not leave garage or front door open. House alarm is available for your security when away. 5. Garbage will be picked up from garage bins on Friday. No need to put them out.

My husband, our two dogs, and I stayed in this home for nearly two and a half months, and we enjoyed it immensely. The house has ample space, making it comfortable for both people and pets, and we loved our daily walks to the lake and being part of the Leschi community. The hosts are incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. During a few unexpected power outages, we were pleasantly surprised when a generator kicked on seamlessly to keep everything running, which was an impressive and thoughtful touch. This is a beautiful, well cared for home, and we highly recommend it. One thing to note for pet owners is that the neighborhood is hilly, so be prepared for some uphill and downhill walks, but thanks to that, we have never been in better shape.

A beautiful, spacious, well stocked home, in a safe, quiet, and walkable neighborhood. We had a great stay! Lots of amenities. It was great to have a garage for easy parking. Spencer was very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. We highly recommend this rental and would happily stay again if we're back in Seattle!

The place was airy and light with a great kitchen, all the amenities we could need and a very comfortable bed. We and our corgi loved being right by Lake Washington and so many parks with lots of interesting paths for the daily walk. Little Leschi "village" was super convenient with a small but extensive grocery store and three local restaurants. While it was too chilly to play with the water toys in the garage, we enjoyed morning coffee on the patio daily. It was a fine stay with great hosts, Spencer and Carl. I stayed at Spencer’s place for about a week. The space is beautiful, backs up against a forested green space, very private and meditative. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The master bathroom is luxurious and beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is right by the lake and urban forest hikes, a small grocery store and a couple of restaurants. I had to leave my reservation early due to an unexpected emergency and Spencer was very kind and responsive to my situation. Could not recommend more.

Spencer's place is something special -- the surroundings are so green and quiet, the neighbourhood is walkable and safe and very pretty (<3mins to lake washington for stunning sunrises); the house itself is very comfortable, modern yet homely, with everything we needed (good entertainment systems too). There's good transport links into downtown as well, so we felt in nature, but also able to get into the city relatively quickly :) All in, just a wonderful place. Thank you again for letting us stay!

Our second stay at the property. It’s a real gem. Comfortable, full of amenities, and always clean and ready for us. Don’t hesitate - it’s a great spot with a lovely backyard and a market walking distance away. And of course the lake is just a 5 minute walk. Parking for 2 cars and even an EV charger. Enjoy !

We were so grateful this beautiful oasis was available during the exact time of our annual family vacation. Normally, this gorgeous home is booked solid, but the stars aligned and we were thrilled to be able to stay. From the spacious living/kitchen/dining areas with top-line appliances and entertainment options, to the two-car garage filled with kid AND adult toys, to the sumptuous beds/bedding with plenty of bathrooms for all, to the peaceful backyard patio sanctuary with gas grill and incredible landscaping, this stay ranks among our TOP getaways of all time. What’s more, it was as if Spencer knew what we would need before we even thought of it, and we deeply appreciated the kind and helpful messages at just the right moments during our stay. Being so close to the stunning Lake Washington was certainly enough, and then we realized (thanks to Spencer’s hot tip) that the bus at the foot of the street could whisk us away to see all of the best Seattle attractions! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

We found Spencer’s house to be the perfect location for our sightseeing needs. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood! Spencer left a detailed walking route that explores the neighborhood and surrounding parks. It is well worth the effort! While we spent most of our days exploring all that Seattle and the surrounding area had to offer, we found that the house was expertly stocked for our needs while we were there. We had all that we needed as a family to share breakfast together, and had ample living space to relax at the end of our busy days. We would highly recommend staying at Spencer’s house and we will certainly consider staying again upon a return to the Seattle area!
